The Innovatory partners new service to boost
innovation in London
The Innovatory is now part of a new European network to boost innovation performance of businesses in the capital and to help London’s businesses to receive practical support to access Europe’s €50 billion Research & Development funding pot . The London Innovation Network is the sub-regional link to the Enterprise Europe Network, a consortium of 600 organisations across 40 European countries.
The London Innovation Network provides tailored support to enable businesses to access European Funding, to engage with the opportunities of the European Single Market and to promote knowledge transfer and innovation.
The Network has received more than €5 million from the London Development Agency and the European Commission, and is run by a consortium of four partners: Greater London Enterprise (lead partner), supported by The Innovatory, London Technology Network and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The work is being delivered within the European Commission’s new ‘ Enterprise Europe Network ’, which offers a comprehensive range of services for European SMEs, entrepreneurs, research centres and universities. Launched in 2008, Enterprise Europe Network is made up of more than 600 partner organisations in more than 40 countries, promoting competitiveness and innovation at the local level in Europe and beyond.
Our role in the London consortium focuses on helping companies throughout London to get more out of the EU.
The Innovatory service offer for the London Innovation Network includes:
- Access to funding: We are helping businesses to make the most of
European funding and research opportunities, supporting them to access
EU grants and tenders.
- Expanding into Europe: Practical support to London’s small businesses
in finding European business partners, dealing with EU red tape
and expanding into overseas markets.
- Developing new technologies: We also help businesses improve their innovation and management processes through tailored business support and innovation management training courses. Network partners will assist in bringing products to market by promoting knowledge transfer partnerships between EU businesses and research centres.
