Train to Gain is a new service designed to help businesses get the training they need to succeed. It can help your business improve productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that your staff have the right skills to do the best job.
If your business meets the eligibility criteria, the costs of training and assessment for Train to Gain supported courses may be paid in part or full for your business. If your company has less than 50 employees, you may be eligible for a contribution to wage costs when releasing employees for training during their normal working hours. Employees must also meet eligibility criteria.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, your company must: • have less than 5,000 employees
• have not yet achieved Investor in People recognition and
• have not accessed funded Vocational / Apprenticeship / NVQ training within the last twelve months. The employees you wish to be trained must: • hold an employment contract (not volunteers)
• be age 20 or over
• not hold a full Level 2 qualification
• be UK nationals or hold the right of abode in the UK.
Train to Gain Level 3 For Women
Designed to help women achieve higher level qualifications, under the Train to Gain Level 3 programme, London based companies of any size may receive training at one third of the regular cost. In a nut shell, this means we are offering any seven days of training of your choosing PLUS a nationally recognised qualification (NVQ) . This package has a total worth of over £2,600!
Eligibility criteria
These courses are exclusively available to to females in employment, and your company must be based in Greater London .
The employees you wish to be trained must:
• be women
• hold an employment contract
• be age 20 or over
• be UK nationals or hold the right of abode in the UK.

How to book onto this programme
Contact the Train to Gain Project Manager, Alexis Pottinger, who will make an initial check on your eligibility, and if you meet the criteria, will explain the registration procedure which will enable you to access training for your employees. |

All these training courses run at our Old Street training facility in the heart of Hoxton.
Classes start at 10.00am and finish at 5.00pm, refreshments and lunch is provided. |
