Overview
An introductory course
aimed at giving the web novice a thorough overview of the main concepts,
software and technologies involved in creating and maintaining a
website. This course is especially suitable for people wanting to know
more about how their websites work.
Prerequisites
To have good practical
experience (at least 1 year) of using a computer with either Windows
or Mac OS. You should be able to use a mouse to select, open and close files and folders. You need to be aware of the file storage areas, such as My documents, desktop and hard drive. You should know how to ‘copy’ and ‘paste’, minimise and maximise a window, the difference between ‘save’ and ‘save as’ and how to switch between one open application and another.

website using Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, HTML
